Glass fiber filter with binder have superior wet strength,high flow rate,thus are excellent for qualitative analysis and prefiltration, especially for heavily contaminated liquids.
And glass fiber filter without binder withstands temperature up to 550°C,so can therefore be used in gravimetric analysis as well as for the filtration of hot gases.
